Despite a disappointment, a good price for Eugenia Callan
When the work Menage A Trois by Eugenia Callan was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 765.00 (€ 675.91). Despite this disappointing result, Menage A Trois is the most expensive artwork by Eugenia Callan that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Menage A Trois von Eugenia Callan im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
