Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Cheetahs by Eugenia Callan for USD 512.00 (€ 480.57). This price was achieved in the auction Discovery on Sunset at Bonhams in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Eugenia Callan have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2021 by the work Menage A Trois at USD 765.00 (€ 675.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cheetahs von Eugenia Callan für USD 512,00 (€ 480,57) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Discovery on Sunset bei Bonhams in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Andere Arbeiten von Eugenia Callan wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Dezember 2021 die Arbeit Menage A Trois mit USD 765,00 (€ 675,91).
