Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Polish landscape With Sailors by Eugène Zak was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The price achieved of GBP 137,000.00 (€ 186,039.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Other works by Eugène Zak have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2019 the work L'Ondine Et Le Pifferaro was auctioned for EUR 200,000.00.
