Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Zak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Ondine Et Le Pifferaro in October 2019 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.

Die Arbeit Mari'S Head von Eugène Zak kam im Dezember 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 13.030,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Zak erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Ondine Et Le Pifferaro im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
