Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Spaniel resting by Eugène Joseph Verboeckhoven. The price achieved of GBP 5,737.50 (€ 6,740.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Joseph Verboeckhoven achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Leading the flock over the heath in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 156,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spaniel resting von Eugène Joseph Verboeckhoven zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.737,50 (€ 6.740,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Joseph Verboeckhoven erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Leading the flock over the heath im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 156.000,00.
