It achieved a price of SEK 130,000.00 (€ 14,838.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Jansson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Timmermansgatan' (Timmermansgatan) in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 3,150,000.00 (€ 307,262.77).

Die Arbeit Seated nude on white chair von Eugène Jansson kam im Juni 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 130.000,00 (€ 14.838,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Jansson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Timmermansgatan' (Timmermansgatan) im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 3.150.000,00 (€ 307.262,77).
