Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eugène Jansson could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Klassiska auction, the work "Mot solnedgången" (Towards the sunset) changed hands for SEK 560,000.00 (€ 60,498.48) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eugène Jansson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Timmermansgatan' (Timmermansgatan) in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 3,150,000.00 (€ 307,262.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugène Jansson konnte im Juni 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Klassiska wechselte die Arbeit "Mot solnedgången" (Towards the sunset) für SEK 560.000,00 (€ 60.498,48) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugène Jansson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Timmermansgatan' (Timmermansgatan) im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 3.150.000,00 (€ 307.262,77).
