This artwork by Eugène Baboulène achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2007. In the The House Sale auction, the work Le Port De Plaisance Toulon sold for USD 10,200.00 (€ 7,626.74) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Eugène Baboulène; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot La Belle Bouillabaisse - 1989 sold at auction in March 2021 with the realized price of EUR 8,840.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugène Baboulène erzielte im März 2007 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The House Sale wurde die Arbeit Le Port De Plaisance Toulon für USD 10.200,00 (€ 7.626,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Eugène Baboulène; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit La Belle Bouillabaisse - 1989 im März 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 8.840,00.
