It achieved a price of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,352.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Admittedly, works by Eugène-Antoine Aizelin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Psyché in October this year with an auction result of USD 35,280.00 (€ 33,383.80).

Die Arbeit A bronze figure of 'Nymphe de Diane' von Eugène-Antoine Aizelin kam im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.352,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugène-Antoine Aizelin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Psyché im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.280,00 (€ 33.383,80).
