Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eugen Jettel could be acquired at Sothebys in London in May 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work Austrian the Watermeadow changed hands for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,558.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Eugen Jettel have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2004 by the work A Normandy landscape at GBP 10,157.50 (€ 15,117.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugen Jettel konnte im Mai 2015 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Austrian the Watermeadow für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.558,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Eugen Jettel wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2004 die Arbeit A Normandy landscape mit GBP 10.157,50 (€ 15.117,40).
