A top price for Ettore Colla - as previously expected
In April 2013 Christies in Milan held the auction Milan Modern and Contemporary, which included the work Concerto by Ettore Colla. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 120,000.00 – 180,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 127,200.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Concerto is the most expensive artwork by Ettore Colla that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2013 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Concerto von Ettore Colla zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 127.200,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Concerto das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ettore Colla, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
