Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Assomption De La Vierge by Etienne Parrocel was auctioned at Artcurial in January 2016. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,950.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Etienne Parrocel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A kneeling monk in profile to the left, for Saint François Regis in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 15,600.00 (€ 12,001.85).

Die Arbeit L'Assomption De La Vierge von Etienne Parrocel kam im Januar 2016 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.950,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Etienne Parrocel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A kneeling monk in profile to the left, for Saint François Regis im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.600,00 (€ 12.001,85).
