The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Etienne Parrocel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2007 the work A kneeling monk in profile to the left, for Saint François Regis was auctioned for USD 15,600.00 (€ 12,001.85).

Die Arbeit Ange Jouant Avec Un Cerf Volant von Etienne Parrocel kam im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
