In the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction, the work The Doctor'S Visit, Or "The Charlatan," Also Known As Le Marchand D'Orviétan Or L'Opérateur Barri changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,071.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Etienne Jeaurat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The interior of a boudoir, with a lady in a white and blue dress in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 237,381.44).
