Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work De Kracht by Etienne Elias. The price achieved of EUR 1,020.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Etienne Elias have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Play-Boy II in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 5,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit De Kracht von Etienne Elias zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.020,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Etienne Elias auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Play-Boy II im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.000,00.
