It achieved a price of GBP 4,780.00 (€ 6,869.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Étienne-Charles Leguay have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Lady And Gentleman, Circa 1801 in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,637.44).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.780,00 (€ 6.869,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Étienne-Charles Leguay auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady And Gentleman, Circa 1801 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.637,44).
