Admittedly, works by Étienne-Charles Leguay have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Lady And Gentleman, Circa 1801 in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,637.44).
