Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Christies in London held the auction Victorian and Traditonalist Pictures, which included the work A Fairy Ring by Ethelene Eva Dell. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,628.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ethelene Eva Dell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Titania'S Moonlit Bower, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,422.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian and Traditonalist Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Fairy Ring von Ethelene Eva Dell zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.628,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ethelene Eva Dell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Titania'S Moonlit Bower beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.422,19) versteigert wurde.
