Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2002 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Figures before a country cottage by Ethelene Eva Dell. The price achieved of GBP 470.00 (€ 746.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ethelene Eva Dell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Titania'S Moonlit Bower in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,422.19).

Im September 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures before a country cottage von Ethelene Eva Dell zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 470,00 (€ 746,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ethelene Eva Dell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Titania'S Moonlit Bower im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.422,19).
