Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Stilleben med tulpaner och videkissar by Esther Kjerner for SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,335.20). This price was achieved in the auction Autumn Classic sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Esther Kjerner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life with flowers, which sold at auction in December 2012 for SEK 23,000.00 (€ 2,679.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Stilleben med tulpaner och videkissar von Esther Kjerner für SEK 14.000,00 (€ 1.335,20) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Autumn Classic sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Esther Kjerner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still life with flowers beobachtet, die im Dezember 2012 für SEK 23.000,00 (€ 2.679,21) versteigert wurde.
