The work Still life with flowers by Esther Kjerner was sold in the Autumn Classic Sale, Stockholm auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2012. The price achieved of SEK 23,000.00 (€ 2,679.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Still life with flowers is the most expensive artwork by Esther Kjerner that we have observed at auctions so far.
