Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Susanna e i vecchioni by Eso Peluzzi was auctioned at Il Ponte in June 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 400.00 – 500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eso Peluzzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il rosario in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 4,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Susanna e i vecchioni von Eso Peluzzi im Juni 2021 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 400,00 – 500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 300,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eso Peluzzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il rosario im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.000,00.
