Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Marzo in Liguria by Eso Peluzzi was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eso Peluzzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Il rosario, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 4,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Marzo in Liguria von Eso Peluzzi im November 2016 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Eso Peluzzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Il rosario beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 4.000,00 versteigert wurde.
