The work The Archer by Ernst Moritz Geyger was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2006. The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,681.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ernst Moritz Geyger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „Pavian und Menschen-Maske“. in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 50,000.00.

Die Arbeit The Archer von Ernst Moritz Geyger kam im Juni 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.681,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernst Moritz Geyger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „Pavian und Menschen-Maske“. im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.000,00.
