Auction result well in line with expectations
The work “Neapolitansk Fisker” by Ernst Meyer was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 3,200.00 (€ 429.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernst Meyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roman Place With A Public Writer in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 21,600.00 (€ 16,617.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit “Neapolitansk Fisker” von Ernst Meyer kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 3.200,00 (€ 429,28) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernst Meyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roman Place With A Public Writer im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.600,00 (€ 16.617,94).
