Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work In the attic, Numedal by Ernst Josephson for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 7,389.44). This price was achieved in the auction Important Spring Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernst Josephson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Swedish 14 Juillet in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 381,000.00 (€ 428,759.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit In the attic, Numedal von Ernst Josephson für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 7.389,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernst Josephson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Swedish 14 Juillet im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 381.000,00 (€ 428.759,69).
