Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work "Drottningen" by Ernst Josephson for SEK 19,000.00 (€ 1,612.91). This price was achieved in the auction Important Spring Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernst Josephson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Swedish 14 Juillet in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 381,000.00 (€ 428,759.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Drottningen" von Ernst Josephson für SEK 19.000,00 (€ 1.612,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernst Josephson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Swedish 14 Juillet im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 381.000,00 (€ 428.759,69).
