In October 2012 Christies in London held the auction Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale, which included the work The West End Is Awakening' & 'The Fall of The Countryside' by Ernest Michael Dinkel. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,662.47), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ernest Michael Dinkel have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,905.79) in October 2012 for the work Visit The Empire.
