The work Church at Chimayo 16 x 20 in. framed 25 x 29 in. by Ernest Blumenschein was worth USD 277,575.00 (€ 268,889.86) to a buyer in November last year. This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman at Bonhams in Los Angeles and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 90,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ernest Blumenschein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work White Blanket And Blue Spruce, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 1,538,500.00 (€ 1,070,186.42).

Die Arbeit Church at Chimayo 16 x 20 in. framed 25 x 29 in. von Ernest Blumenschein war einem Käufer im November letzten Jahres USD 277.575,00 (€ 268.889,86) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 90.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
