The auction ended at the price of EUR 900.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00. Admittedly, works by Ernest Dezentjé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in April 2007 with an auction result of SGD 7,800.00 (€ 3,757.25).

Die Arbeit Landscape with Ricefield von Ernest Dezentjé kam im September 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 900,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernest Dezentjé auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SGD 7.800,00 (€ 3.757,25).
