Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Composition by Erik Pape for EUR 240.00. This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Erik Pape have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2007 by the work 'Canal St Denis' at EUR 360.00.

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Erik Pape wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2007 die Arbeit 'Canal St Denis' mit EUR 360,00.
