Auction result fails to reach estimate
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Four compositions by Erik Ortvad for DKK 2,700.00 (€ 362.20). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erik Ortvad achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danish Landet Jeg Kender (The Country I Know) in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 16,100.00 (€ 20,479.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Four compositions von Erik Ortvad für DKK 2.700,00 (€ 362,20) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erik Ortvad erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danish Landet Jeg Kender (The Country I Know) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.100,00 (€ 20.479,90).
