Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work "Veronicas svetteduk" by Erik Olson for SEK 10,000.00 (€ 861.65). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art + Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erik Olson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work ”Carré Rouge" in May 2021 with an auction result of SEK 6,800,000.00 (€ 671,412.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Veronicas svetteduk" von Erik Olson für SEK 10.000,00 (€ 861,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erik Olson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ”Carré Rouge" im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 6.800.000,00 (€ 671.412,17).
