Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Erik Olson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "Jonglören" sold for SEK 2,100,000.00 (€ 180,946.12) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 1,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Erik Olson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work ”Carré Rouge", which sold at auction in May 2021 for SEK 6,800,000.00 (€ 671,412.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Erik Olson erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wurde die Arbeit "Jonglören" für SEK 2.100.000,00 (€ 180.946,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 1.000.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Erik Olson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ”Carré Rouge" beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für SEK 6.800.000,00 (€ 671.412,17) versteigert wurde.
