Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Where There is Smoke, There is Strawberry Jam by Erik Lindman for GBP 693.00 (€ 797.15). This price was achieved in the auction Wired: Online Auction at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erik Lindman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,470.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Where There is Smoke, There is Strawberry Jam von Erik Lindman für GBP 693,00 (€ 797,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erik Lindman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.470,55).
