Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Conch by Erik Andriesse. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,060.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Erik Andriesse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Giraf en springbok in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Conch von Erik Andriesse zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.060,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erik Andriesse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Giraf en springbok im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
