Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The Sculpture Sale, which included the work Master Punch - a pendant by Erich Wichman. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,375.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Erich Wichman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Die Kühle Grausamkeit Gottes, which sold at auction in December 2013 for EUR 3,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The Sculpture Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Master Punch - a pendant von Erich Wichman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.375,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Erich Wichman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Die Kühle Grausamkeit Gottes beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für EUR 3.750,00 versteigert wurde.
