Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Erich Buchholz was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,083.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erich Buchholz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Neue Tafel Nr. 10“. in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 112,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Erich Buchholz kam im Juni 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.083,46) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erich Buchholz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Neue Tafel Nr. 10“. im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 112.500,00.
