Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eric Liot could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open: Summer Edition auction, the work Auto Portrait changed hands for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,267.36) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Eric Liot have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2012 by the work Nature Morte, 2002 at EUR 4,505.00.
