Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Fisher woman in regional costume by Eppo Doeve. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,020.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eppo Doeve achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A portrait of the actor Louis van Gasteren Senior in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 15,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fisher woman in regional costume von Eppo Doeve zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.020,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eppo Doeve erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A portrait of the actor Louis van Gasteren Senior im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.000,00.
