Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Spirit of Freedom by Enzo Plazzotta. The price achieved of GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,273.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enzo Plazzotta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Downfall in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,347.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spirit of Freedom von Enzo Plazzotta zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.273,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enzo Plazzotta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Downfall im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.347,91).
