Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work Playing cards in the tavern by Enrico Tarenghi. The price achieved of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,522.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Enrico Tarenghi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Prièreenrico Tarenghi ; The Prayer ; Signed Lower Right ; Watercolour, which sold at auction in October 2008 for EUR 8,125.00.

Im September 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Playing cards in the tavern von Enrico Tarenghi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.522,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Enrico Tarenghi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Prièreenrico Tarenghi ; The Prayer ; Signed Lower Right ; Watercolour beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für EUR 8.125,00 versteigert wurde.
