Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A vegetable seller before the Sphinx, Egypt by Enrico Tarenghi was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 840.00 (€ 1,247.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Enrico Tarenghi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Prièreenrico Tarenghi ; The Prayer ; Signed Lower Right ; Watercolour in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.

Die Arbeit A vegetable seller before the Sphinx, Egypt von Enrico Tarenghi kam im Juli 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 840,00 (€ 1.247,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
