In December 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Italian the Water Carrier by Enrico Fanfani. The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,845.81) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Enrico Fanfani have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2010 the work Ruth And Rebecca: A Pair Of Paintings was auctioned for USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,153.04).
