Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2008 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art, which included the work A maiden with doves by Enrico Fanfani. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,702.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Enrico Fanfani have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2010 the work Ruth And Rebecca: A Pair Of Paintings was auctioned for USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,153.04).
