Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bellows of a Rooster Crow by Enrico Donati was sold in the Living with Art auction at Christies in New York in June 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,431.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enrico Donati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spaziale fiorito in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 867,000.00 (€ 768,140.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bellows of a Rooster Crow von Enrico Donati wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Living with Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.431,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enrico Donati erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spaziale fiorito im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 867.000,00 (€ 768.140,34).
