A top price for Engelbert L'Hoëst - as previously expected
In December 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction A European Corporate Collection, which included the work Landscape by Engelbert L'Hoëst. The price achieved of EUR 2,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Engelbert L'Hoëst that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion A European Corporate Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Engelbert L'Hoëst zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Engelbert L'Hoëst, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
