The work Calligraphy Couplet in Standard Script by Emperor Xianfeng was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. It achieved a price of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 9,309.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Emperor Xianfeng; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Couplet In Large Standard Script Calligraphy sold at auction in April 2002 with the realized price of HKD 83,650.00 (€ 11,912.83).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Standard Script von Emperor Xianfeng kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 9.309,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Emperor Xianfeng; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Couplet In Large Standard Script Calligraphy im April 2002 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 83.650,00 (€ 11.912,83).
