Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch Jimi Hendrix Op Texel by Emo Verkerk was sold in the THE BAT ARTVENTURE COLLECTION formerly known as THE PETER STUYVESANT COLLECTION auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,375.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Emo Verkerk have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2017 the work Dostojevski was auctioned for EUR 5,625.00.

Die Arbeit Dutch Jimi Hendrix Op Texel von Emo Verkerk wurde im März 2010 in der Auktion THE BAT ARTVENTURE COLLECTION formerly known as THE PETER STUYVESANT COLLECTION bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.375,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
