Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Emma Stern was auctioned at Christies in Brussels in October this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,170.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emma Stern achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gabbi + Susan in September this year with an auction result of USD 33,020.00 (€ 31,198.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Emma Stern kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in Brüssel zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.170,25) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emma Stern erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gabbi + Susan im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.020,00 (€ 31.198,03).
