In May 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Italian the Festival Arrival by Emma Ciardi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,922.77), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emma Ciardi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Grand Fête On The Grand Canal, which sold at auction in December 2003 for GBP 53,775.00 (€ 76,165.24).

Im Mai 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian the Festival Arrival von Emma Ciardi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.922,77) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Emma Ciardi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Grand Fête On The Grand Canal beobachtet, die im Dezember 2003 für GBP 53.775,00 (€ 76.165,24) versteigert wurde.
